The security of your data is important to us
We undertake to process your data with care, and to comply with the provisions of applicable data protection requirements. We endeavour to implement technical and organisational measures for the storage of your data so as to ensure that such data is not accessible to third parties. Please note that we are unable to guarantee complete data security in case of communication with us via email. You may revoke your registration at any time, prohibit us from processing your data and request that such data is deleted. In this case, please contact info@igora.ch and inform us of the email address that you used to register.
When is data collected?
If you register explicitly for one of the offers to participate on the website, your data will be collected. This will happen if:
- you contact us via one of the contact forms;
- you order products on the website;
- you take part in one of our competitions;
Use of your data
We use your data and information solely in connection with IGORA's activities for the following purposes:
- information via email or via other electronic channels;
- making contact via email or via other communication channels;
- lists and presentations of data on the website in anonymised form;
- compilation of statistics and analyses.
Your data will not be forwarded to third parties.
Revocation of your consent
You may revoke your registration at any time, prohibit us from processing your data and request that such data is deleted. You can send us your revocation via email to info@igora.ch or by post to IGORA-Genossenschaft. When doing so, please state your last name, first name(s) and the email address which you used to register. In addition, every Newsletter that you receive from us includes an 'Unsubscribe' link.
Use of automatically generated data
Certain technical data will be collected whenever you access our homepage and whenever you access files. However, such data is only stored pseudonymously (i.e. with indirect reference to an individual). This means that it is impossible for us to trace the data back to you personally. The following data is logged: the IP address of the accessing computer, file name(s) of the file(s) accessed, date and time of access, data volume transmitted, status report relating to the access, and information about the web browser used.
Cookies
We use cookies. These are small files that are stored by your browser when you access our website. These cookies are assigned a lifetime by the web server, so they are deleted after that lifetime has expired. You can also make a setting in your browser software so that cookies are always deleted whenever you close your browser. Cookies are necessary so that we can allocate accesses to our website uniquely to you, which is required in order to make certain functionalities available. Therefore, the use of cookies serves the purpose of making our website user-friendly. For some of the functions on our website, it must also be possible for the accessing browser to be identified after changing pages. For example, data such as language settings, articles in a shopping cart or login information is stored in the cookies and transferred by them. These cookies only remain active while the website is open in the browser, after which they are automatically deleted. If cookies are disabled for our website, it may then become impossible to make full use of all the functions. However, we do not use cookies to monitor your surfing behaviour or to show you targeted advertising. If you do not want our website to store cookies on your terminal device, you can define this preference in your browser's settings.
Google Analytics
Our website uses Google Analytics. This is a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). This service also uses cookies that make it possible to analyse the use of our website. Our justified interest in data processing lies in the evaluation of website usage, the compilation of website activity, and additional services in connection with website usage and use of the internet. Information about the use of the website (including the anonymised IP address) generated by Google Analytics with the help of cookies is transferred to a Google Inc. server in the USA. Information is anonymised by removing the last eight bits of the IP address, which means that it is no longer possible to allocate the collected data uniquely to a specific IP address. Data sent by us that is linked to cookies, user IDs or advertising IDs will be deleted automatically after 14 months. Deletion of data whose retention period has been reached takes place automatically once per month. The information generated by Google is transferred to authorities or third parties if Google is obliged by law to transmit such data to these parties, or if third parties act as service providers on behalf of Google.
In this case too, you have the option of preventing the storage of cookies by making settings for this purpose in your browser. By using our website, you declare your agreement to the use of Google Analytics.
- For more information about Google Analytics, visit: https://www.google.ch/analytics.
- You can find information about Google's Privacy Policy at: http://www.google.ch/intl/en/policies/.
- You will find an option here for suppressing the use of Google Analytics and the related transfer of data to Google: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.
External services
This website uses Google Maps API, a map service from Google Inc. (“Google”) to present an interactive map and to create location and route maps. Google Maps is operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
By using Google Maps, information about your use of this website (including your IP address) may be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google will send the information obtained via Maps to third parties, if necessary, provided this is required by law, or insofar as third parties process these data on behalf of Google.
Google will never link your IP address to other Google data. However, technically, it is possible that Google might identify a few individual users at least, based on the data received. There is a chance that the personal data and personal profiles of users of the Google website might be processed for other purposes over which we have or may have no influence. There is an option to disable the Google Maps service and thereby prevent data transfer to Google, by deactivating JavaScript in your browser. We would point out, however, that in this case you may not be able to use the map display on our pages.
You will find the Google data protection declaration and additional usage conditions for Google Maps at: https://www.google.com/intl/en_en/help/terms_maps.html.
Right to disclosure of information, correction and deletion
In response to a written request to info@igora.ch, we shall inform you of all data relating to you that we have stored. For this purpose, please send us your last name, first name(s) and the email address you used to register, together with a copy of an official identification document (ID document, passport). This is necessary so that no unauthorised parties can obtain access to your data.
If you notify us that the data stored about you is incorrect, we shall immediately correct or delete such data.
Amendments to the Privacy Statement
Amendments to the Privacy Statement may be made by IGORA at any time. For this reason, please review this statement regularly.
